The Rincon Research Corporation Model 4IFDA-70/36 is a four-channel, high-output driver amplifier for interfacing standard 70-MHz intermediate frequency (IF) systems directly to high-speed, video analog-to-digital converter inputs.

4-Channel IF Driver Amplifier 4IFDA-70/36

Features

  • Standard 70-MHz IF inputs
  • Band-limiting filters on each input channel reduce spurious responses
  • 30-dB gain with <5-dB noise figure (36-MHz input bandwidth)
  • 2 Volt p-p output into 50-ohm impedance drives A/D directly
  • Provides up to four output ports for each input channel

Description

Each channel amplifies and filters a 36-MHz wide block of frequencies centered at the 70-MHz IF input and provides four outputs for each input channel. Channel gain is +30 dB with each output capable of driving a minimum of 2 Volts p-p into a 50-ohm load impedance.
